About Gruuve's Music
The Mission
Gruuve is a nickname that stuck, and for good reason. I bring unforgettably fun live music experiences to the St. Augustine / Jacksonville areas, and to the Savannah area. As a multi-instrumentalist on guitar, bass, some keys, and a singer with a wide vocal range, my multiple musical acts and diverse range of songs ensures there's live entertainment to fit every audience's appetite. I make it a point to do all those songs that you love but haven't heard in years because no one else does them! And yes, it's a dirty job, but I'm just the guy to do it. :-P

GRUUVE's WHISKEY BLUES - Intimate Smooth Blues Trio
Crafted to be a quieter and more intimate restaurant-friendly act, with a very small footprint. The latest line-up has Gruuve on electric upright bass and vocals, plus a blues guitarist and skillful cajon player who makes that box drum sound like a tiny drumkit. You'll hear some unexpected surprises from popular songs redone as slow blues or similar. We know how to turn it down and mellow it out so you can have dinner conversations without shouting, but still enjoy the musical entertainment.
